Mr. Montalvo is an Associate Judge  with the City of Houston.

A former federal officer, Mr. Montalvo graduated with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While on the Dean’s List, he earned Praemium Excellentia Amjur Awards in Trial Simulation, Appellate Litigation, Best Appellate Brief and International Human Rights.

He is licensed and authorized to practice law by the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Texas. 

He is also admitted to the Fifth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Federal District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
